Jun 29, 2023

Suede shoes are a popular choice for many people in the autumn and winter seasons. They are very stylish and also provide warmth and protection from the cold. However, maintaining and caring for them can be quite difficult. As we all know, the fluffy material of these shoes is very easy to collect dust, making cleaning a particularly challenging task. Additionally, they also require a longer time to dry after cleaning. So, how should we clean them? Let's take a look at some tips we would like to share with you.

Step 1

Have you ever tried wiping the suede surface of your shoes with a damp cloth, only to find that it becomes dirtier? Yes, that is an incorrect cleaning method. The correct way is to use a professional suede brush to remove the dust from the suede layer. If you don't have this kind of brush, using a vacuum cleaner is also an option.

Step 2

Take a damp sponge and use it to deal with water-soluble stains on the shoes

Step 3

Spray the cleaner onto the surface of the shoes and use a rubber brush to scrub back and forth, removing the stains on both sides of the fibers. Use a damp sponge to absorb the dirty foam.

Step 4

After cleaning the suede shoes, hang them in a cool and ventilated place for about ten minutes. When the fur on the shoes feels slightly dry, use a rubber brush to brush it in one direction, allowing the fur to spread out and become neat.

Step 5

Continue to air-dry the suede shoes until the surface is completely dry. Then, stuff the shoes with newspaper and spray a renovator evenly about 15 centimeters away from the shoes.

Step 6

Use a rubber brush to brush the fur in the direction of the fibers, making the color of the suede shoes consistent

The above are the cleaning methods for suede shoes that we have introduced to you.Overall, You should not use a regular brush, but choose a professional suede brush. Of course, you can also use a vacuum cleaner. After cleaning, you can hang the shoes in a ventilated place for about ten minutes, and then brush them again in the opposite direction.
